Marvin Clark has been an Alaska Attorney since 1982. Before that, he got his start right after graduating from high school working as an assistant guide and trapper on Kodiak Island. Two years later he began college, studying economics, journalism and political science at University of Alaska Fairbanks. He authored his first book, LAST OF THE GREAT BROWN BEAR MEN, in 1976, and graduated with honors from Gonzaga University law school in 1982 . He has belonged to the Alaska Bar ever since.
